The Pointsman is a free app with absolutely no ads. If you enjoy using the Pointsman and would like to support its development, consider leaving a tip via the app.

You can utilize the Pointsman during gameplay to verify player scores or save scoring until the end for a more immersive experience. The app automatically calculates player routes, route scores, station placements, longest train routes, game-specific bonuses, and destination tickets. All the information is displayed on a beautifully designed "score ticket" that can be shared as a keepsake of your game.

The Pointsman employs ARKit, CoreML, and custom machine learning algorithms to recognize trains on the game board. The training required for this feature is specific to each Ticket To Ride version. Currently, the Pointsman supports the following versions:

Known Issues:

1. The Pointsman cannot recognize transparent promotional train sets.
2. The Pointsman cannot recognize turquoise variants of the blue trains.

To achieve the best results, stand directly in front of the game board and hold your device at around a 45-degree angle to it. To ensure accuracy, you can perform the following checks:

1. The number of unused trains per player is displayed on the score ticket. Confirm that this number matches the actual number of unused trains.
2. The score ticket lists every connection for each player. Manually confirm the accuracy of each connection.

If the Pointsman makes an error, simply tap on the player's score to access the editing interface and make the necessary corrections.
